Residential Case Manager

The Residential Case Manager is a full-time non-exempt position working with adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses. The Residential Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services in accordance with WAC 388-865-0456.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral sciences or related field, or Associate of Arts Degree
- At least one (1) year of experience in mental health or related field working with chronically mentally ill adults.
- Good personal relations skills; ability to work with difficult clients.
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team approach
- Ability to apply a Recovery based approach
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
- Good verbal, written, communication, and computer skills
- Visual and auditory skills required to communicate, ensure and deliver client care and provide legal documentation of care
- Requires frequent standing, bending at the knees and waist, kneeling and reaching; Requires frequent walking to accomplish tasks
- Requires ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Requires valid US driver’s license, vehicle liability insurance, and ability to provide case management services both in an office, and community setting.
Employment contingent on successful background check and Washington State counseling profession credential issued by the Department of Health (e.g. Agency Affiliated Counselor).
