We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Custodian/Guest Services Associate to join our Christian Oriented Team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment during the overnight hours. The Overnight Associate will be responsible for various Custodial tasks, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and consistently meet our high standards of cleanliness. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to facilities maintenance. Although this job is primarily an overnight position, occasional day shifts will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties including vacuuming, cleaning, buffing, and maintaining floors.
- Ensure all spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces.
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Wipe mirrors and windows.
- Ensure all areas are properly stocked with necessary supplies.
- Carry out routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Experience in custodial work, including buffing and floor care.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and practices.
- Basic skills in facilities maintenance and upkeep.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ability to lift and move at least 75 pounds.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
