What You’ll Do:
As a vital team member, your role will focus on supporting our doctors, connecting with clients, and providing exceptional patient care. Duties include:
- Assisting veterinarians with procedures and patient appointments.
- Gathering patient history and vitals.
- Restraining and handling patients compassionately.
- Performing blood draws, IV catheter placement, and SQ/IM injections.
- Monitoring patients during sedation and anesthesia.
- Educating clients on optimal pet health and wellness.
- Maintaining medical records, managing patient flow, and supporting hospital efficiency.
- Assisting with inventory, stocking, and cleaning.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Veterinary Technician license (preferred but not required).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a small animal veterinary practice.
- A passion for client communication and patient care.
- Adaptability, innovative thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
