Groups Coordinator

Part-Time (10 hours/week including some evenings and weekends)

Groups are a building block of the Lakeland discipleship strategy. Lakeland Church is seeking a team of passionate and driven Groups Coordinators to help expand and strengthen the Leadership Pipeline in our Groups ministry. This role is essential in developing leaders, equipping coaches, and launching new groups to create a thriving discipleship community.

YOU WILL:

Develop Leaders & Coaches: Identify, recruit, and mentor potential leaders, guiding them through the leadership pipeline.

Launch New Groups: Support new group leaders in starting and supporting new groups, ensuring they align with Lakelands values and vision.

Support Existing Groups: Provide encouragement, strategic guidance and initiate Groups Coaching Collectives with current group leaders and coaches.

Strategize for Weekend Engagement: Creatively collaborate with Group Leaders and Coaches to develop strategies that maintain and grow the Groups Ministry presence and connection opportunities during weekend services.

Cultivate a Leadership Culture: Foster a multiplication mindset where leaders invest in developing others.

Champion Group Engagement: Actively invite and connect attendees into groups, helping them find the right fit.

Track & Evaluate Progress: Maintain awareness of group health, leadership development, and overall engagement.
