Worship Director-PT
The Worship Director is responsible for overseeing and leading all worship elements at the Pleasant Prairie Campus, creating dynamic, Spirit-filled experiences that engage hearts and point people to Jesus.
Status: Part Time: 20 hours/wk.
You Will:
Develop:
- Recruit, train, and mentor musicians, vocalists, and tech volunteers to build a thriving worship team.
- Disciple worship team members, fostering their spiritual growth and leadership development.
- Share Lakeland’s DNA and cultivate a worship culture that inspires full engagement in the presence of God.
- Innovate and dream for “what’s next” in the worship ministry at the Pleasant Prairie Campus.
Direct:
- Plan, coordinate, and lead worship for weekend services and special events, ensuring alignment with Lakeland’s mission and teaching themes.
- Lead worship through a team of volunteer leaders, empowering them to take ownership of their roles.
- Collaborate with the Lake Geneva Worship Pastor to maintain consistency across campuses.
- Manage schedules, rehearsals, and team communication to ensure seamless service execution.
Coordinate:
- Partner with Lakeland’s creative teams to enhance worship experiences with innovative elements like lighting, video, and stage design.
- Oversee and maintain worship equipment to ensure high-quality audio, video, and production standards.
- Expand Lakeland’s presence in the community through worship and outreach opportunities.
You Have:
- Strong vocal and/or instrumental proficiency, with experience leading worship in a church setting.
- Proven ability to lead and grow a worship ministry team.
- High-level leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and mentor other
- A passion for worship ministry and the ability to bring vision, creativity, and innovation to teams and services.
