Works within the scope of Pharmacy Practice Law under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Provides exceptional healthcare experiences by accurately following the standard operating procedures (SOP) for all aspects of medication delivery, storage, and utilization of all pharmacy automation systems. Within their scope of licensure, communicates with integrity and courtesy through phone or in person with all disciplines reporting patient needs.

- Standard Work Duties: Pharmacy Stock Clerk
- Restocks inventory in the IV room, pharmacy bulk storage room and resource pharmacy.
- Receives pharmacy orders at the hospital receiving dock and transports this inventory to the pharmacy. Informs the pharmacy purchasing technician of stock shortages observed and places daily bulk storage IV orders to vendors.
- Delivers medications, I.V. solutions, and floorstock to assigned nursing units and delivers stats to appropriate nursing units within the time defined by LRH policy.
- Assists purchaser with inventory in red totes, and inventory on pallets received from vendors.
- Maintain pharmacy inventories which are free from expired products.
- Within scope of practice allowed under Pharmacy Practice Law, answers all questions that arise from LRH employees regarding medication storage, delivery location, and MedSelect. Refers questions outside of scope to pharmacist.
- Remains current with all LRH mandatory annual education.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
