What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaping Assistant position at LakePoint Sports?
Summary and Attributes:
Responsible for assisting the Landscape Manager in the overall maintenance of the campus landscape. This includes but is not limited to grass, edging, weeding, trimming, leaves, and landscape installs. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape management. He or she must be able to work independently and as part of a team. This is a fulltime position that provides year-round employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exemplify the cultural standards and operating principles in all communication and expectations in landscape management
- Grass cutting, weeding, trimming shrubs and small trees, edging, and other landscaping duties across the campus
- Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged trees
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior landscape management experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with various equipment and machinery used in landscape management
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently while exercising good judgment
- Maintain a positive attitude
Work Environment:
- Large sports campus with a large professionally landscaped footprint
- Regular attendance is a necessary job function required for this position
