What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at LakePointe Medical Center?

Room patients for the doctor, obtain vitals such as weight, blood pressure, temperature. Record information in patients charts, drawing blood for labs, strep swabs, immunizations, x-rays, keep patient rooms stocked. Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • medical assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
