We provide integrated mental and physical health care to children, adults, elders and their families who are living with – and recovering from- mental illness and/or emotional distress. As a therapeutic support specialist, you will be responsible for the following job functions:
- Works with children and families on interventions/skills aimed at improving functioning in the home, community and school. Helps families and children in applying skills that the patients learn in therapy to real world experiences
- Provides community-based supports to children and their families who are seeking recovery from a mental or behavioral health condition
- Completes all documentation for each patient service delivered
- Part of a multi-disciplinary team and participates in treatment planning as part of an integrated approach
- Early evenings required and occasional weekends.
