Blue 84 and Zephyr Headwear, leaders in resort apparel and headwear, are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Independent Sales Rep to grow our Zephyr hats & custom headwear sales across the resort and travel retail market.
From lakeside towns to ski resorts, beach boardwalks to mountain boutiques, our resort hats show up where memories are made, and become the favorite people wear long after the trip ends. This is a unique opportunity to focus exclusively on custom headwear, selling high-quality hats people actually want to wear again and again.
You'll manage your own territory, build new business, and grow existing accounts with the support of a fun, NIMBLE, and creative team. We're not just another supplier- we're the headwear brand customers come back to. And we're looking for sales reps who can help share that story.
TERRITORY: Texas and Oklahoma. The ideal candidate would live in either Texas or Oklahoma, preferably near Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Lubbock or Oklahoma City. Seriously, if you live anywhere near this territory & this opportunity speaks to you, let's talk.

DAILY REP LIFE | What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, store owners, and retail teams
- Sell Zephyr hats & headwear to a variety of retail partners like resorts, marinas, hotels, boutiques, gift shops, and other vacation-focused businesses
- Prospect new accounts & grow your territory through in-person visits and consistent follow-up
- Promote & educate customers on the quality, customization options, and uniqueness of our headwear styles, emphasizing what makes our hats stand out in the market
- WOW Our Customers by providing prompt, thoughtful support
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and a seamless customer experience
- Track sales activity and pipeline using tools like Salesforce
- Travel regularly (up to 65%) to visit accounts, attend trade shows, and build in-person connections
QUALIFICATIONS | What You Bring to the Table
- Proven experience in headwear sales, preferably as an Independent Sales Rep
- Experience managing a territory, growing a customer base, and prospecting new accounts- you love the hunt
- Strong communication, relationship-building and closing skills, with a knack for listening and knowing what your customers really need
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and exceed sales targets
- Familiarity with resort retail and custom hats/headwear is a big plus
- Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems, including Salesforce
- Willingness to travel | Boots on the ground makes for more hats on the shelves
- Proactive in making sure customers have product at the ready
- Must have an ability to recognize our culture, contribute to it, and be a part of it
- Go with the flow mentality; able to switch tasks at the tug of a hat
- Must love dogs (we kinda like them and we hope you do, too) and hats (snapback, dad, trucker, beanies, etc...)
