THE OPPORTUNITY
Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating a pad printing machine to create a tagless label for garments.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm
A Typical Day (job functions) | Unbox Remove Tags Pad Print Box Repeat
- Remove tag from garment in order to print branded design onto garment
- Operate pad print machine, using a foot pedal, to transfer design (brand/care and contents) onto garment
- Fold garments and place in box for next step in production process
- Pulls orders of garments for production teams, on an as-needed basis
- Verify correct garment, color and sizes pulled by weighing/counting garments.
- Maintains aisles: clear, cleaned and organized racks
- Follows the 6S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety
- Other duties as assigned including special projects
- High school diploma preferred, but not required
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Accuracy is required, must be able to print design on appropriate area on garment
- Must understand order form and be able to count
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment
- Must be self-directed & self-motivated
- Knowledge of MS Office products: Excel, Word, etc.; must be able to pick up new software skills quickly
- Ability to be on your feet 8-10 hrs/day
