Installation Maintenance and Repair Description
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and general maintenance work of facilities buildings grounds and equipment including electrical carpentry plumbing masonry glazier and painting tasks for a small portfolio of communities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular property inspections
• Purchase supplies for the properties
• Manage repairs and maintenance with vendors
• Maintain pools landscaping utilities roads signage clubhouse and other community items
• Ensure public areas are clean and safe
• Troubleshoot property needs
• Supervise outside contractors working on properties
• Adhere to maintenance and purchasing directives
• Maintain personal property including laundry machines landscape equipment office equipment etc.
• Train and onboard new Maintenance Team members

Qualifications:

• GED or High School diploma required
• Minimum two years experience in building trades plumbing repair and replacement maintenance or handyman work
• Strong customer service communication and interpersonal skills required
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• Ability to use email
• Valid driver's license with three years good driving history

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds following safety procedures
• Work in upright standing position for long periods
• Crawl in small tight spaces
• Work in different environmental conditions
• Walk climb stairs handle finger grasp and feel objects and equipment
• Communicate receive and exchange ideas and information by means of spoken and written word
• Ability to navigate property/building quickly and easily
• Repeat various motions with wrists hands and fingers
• Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
