Municipal Services Manager
Fosters existing municipal relationships and grows primarily our residential line of business, working closely with the Customer Experience Center and Operations teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements comprehensive sales and business strategies to grow the municipal and residential line of business.
- Fosters and continues to grow relationships and contracts with municipalities.
- Maintains the integrity of the customer database by reviewing all contracts and coordinating system cleanup projects.
- Drives marketing and public education for municipalities, ensuring they have Lakeshore Recycling Systems top of mind.
- Maintains awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated markets to anticipate changing customer needs.
- Assists sales personnel in selling circumstances by maintaining a thorough knowledge of the company's available services, lines of business, pricing structures.
- Reviews customer service agreements for terms and conditions, pricing, accuracy, and other requirements.
- Attends municipal and governmental meetings relating to waste and recycling initiatives as needed.
- Manages the municipal sticker program.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management.
- Bachelor's degree in business management.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal, technical, and presentation skills.
- Professional presentation, confident, assertive, and displays high self-esteem.
- Strong active listening skills, giving full attention to others and asking questions when appropriate.
- Grasps concepts quickly, has good follow-through skills, and adheres to work schedules.
- Identifies information needed to clarify situations and seeks information from appropriate sources.
- Good written and verbal presentation skills.
