The Residential Driver plays a critical role in the collection and hauling of waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing assigned routes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate truck in a safe manner, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Deliver waste or recycling removal services to customers on assigned routes by emptying trash/recycling receptacles into the truck and hauling to a disposal site.
- Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
- Clean up waste spills and overflows.
- Maintain and update route sheets, accurately tracking customer collections.
- Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs, highlighting any issues or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to safety standards.
- Interact professionally with internal and external customers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body, maintaining a safe working environment.
