We are seeking a Guest Service Center Specialist to play a key role in creating a welcoming and accommodating experience for guests interacting with the Guest Service Center. Responsibilities include currency exchanges, voucher cash-ins, marker issuance, check cashing, enrolling new players in the A-Play Club, and informing guests about promotions and events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):
- Assist guests with transactions such as cash and coin exchanges, voucher and chip redemption, player account maintenance, and new player enrollments.
- Greet and engage guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Promote A-Play Club membership, casino promotions, and events to guests.
- Verify customer identification when required.
- Accurately process all transactions and maintain balanced cash drawers.
- Handle slot jackpots, table game fills, and assist with department bank transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Iowa Gaming regulations, internal controls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with vault activities as assigned.
- Respond to guest inquiries with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate any concerns to supervisors.
- Must be 18 or older to work on the Casino floor.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous high-volume cash handling experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and proficiency with 10-key.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Strong math skills for handling currency transactions.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License.
- Experience using bill counters, casino kiosks, and multi-line phones is a plus.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License.
