SUMMARY
As a Guest Service Center Specialist, you will ensure our guests receive pleasant and accommodating assistance during Cage and/or Players Club interactions. Your responsibilities will include currency exchanges, voucher cash-ins, marker issuance, check cashing, enrolling new players in our A-Play Club, and informing guests about our current promotions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete various transactions, including cash and coin exchanges, voucher and chip redemptions, check cashing, and A-Play Club enrollments.
- Greet guests warmly, assess their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Promote A-Play Club benefits, casino promotions, and events.
- Verify customer identification as required.
- Accurately handle all monetary transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Utilize automated machines to count coins and paper money.
- Process table game and slot department transactions, including fills and jackpots.
- Adhere to Iowa Gaming regulations, internal controls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with Currency Transaction Reporting regulations.
- Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Provide clear and helpful communication to guests and supervisors.
- Assist with vault activities and paperwork for slot jackpots and table game fills.
- Build the A-Play Club database by enrolling new guests and communicating casino promotions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous high-volume cash handling experience preferred.
- Familiarity with 10-Key operation.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Ability to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License.
SKILLS
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong self-motivation and goal orientation.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills.
