Position Title: Fractional HR Consultant
Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Job Summary: As a Fractional HR Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic HR guidance and support to our clients, assisting them in optimizing their human capital to achieve their business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR principles, extensive experience in HR consulting, and a proven track record of delivering innovative HR solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive HR assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored strategies and action plans to address client needs.
- Lead the design and implementation of HR programs and initiatives aligned with clients' strategic goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to clients on complex HR issues, including employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement talent management strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients' HR teams and line managers on various HR topics and best practices.
- Stay current on HR trends, regulations, and best practices, and advise clients on compliance matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, responsiveness, and quality service delivery.
- Participate in business development activities, including client prospecting, proposal development, and presentations.
- Mentor and coach junior HR consultants, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR consulting or a related field, with a focus on providing strategic HR support to clients.
- Fluent using Sage 100.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and develop practical solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) highly desirable.
