Position Summary :
As the General Manager, you will serve as a strategic advisor and executive leader managing the financial health and human resources of the company. This position will ensure fiscal responsibility, optimize financial performance, and develop initiatives to attract, develop and retain top talent. Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future by aligning and people strategies with the company's strategic goals. This position plays the Integrator role in the business and is critical to driving growth through operational efficiency, financial health and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan.
- Align financial and people strategies with the company's vision, mission, and goals.
- Develop, review, update, and implement quarterly and annual strategic plans / rocks for the business.
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Oversee financial operations including payroll, accounts payable / receivable, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Develop financial strategies to ensure profitability, sustainability, and growth.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory financial standards.
- Develop and implement HR strategies to attract and retain top that align with the company's goals.
- Own the strategy and execution of people programs, such as employee benefits, performance management, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Implement effective delegation practices, ensuring teams are empowered and resources are optimally utilized.
