Lakeside HR Group is searching for an HVAC Service Technician in Nashville, Tennessee on behalf of a premier HVAC solutions provider. This company is a leading manufacturers’ representative of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment, serving the commercial construction market. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, they have 10 additional branches across the Southeast, including Birmingham, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Myers, Pensacola, Savannah, Memphis, and Nashville.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will perform inspections, start-ups, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs to ensure peak performance of HVAC systems for commercial clients. This role is critical in promoting exceptional service and maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform start-up services for HVAC systems, including variable speed drives, air handling units, fans, VRF systems, air-cooled chillers, dehumidifiers, and laboratory airflow systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in rooftop package units, ventilation systems, dehumidification units, VRF systems, and chillers.
Effectively communicate findings and corrective actions to customers, offering additional services where beneficial.
Proactively uphold safety standards, ensuring all procedures are followed.
Maintain accurate service reports, documenting work performed, and providing clear recommendations.
Uphold the company’s reputation through professional service and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
2-5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC
Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision
Ability to interpret technical documents and troubleshoot complex systems
Clear and professional communication in one-on-one and group settings
Physical Requirements :
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crawling
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally
Ability to work in field environments
