What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Aide/Floater position at Lakeside Learning Center?
Lakeside Learning Center is hiring a teacher’s assistant to work in a preschool, toddler or infant classroom.
- Follow and adhere to center policies and procedures at all times
- Be familiar with the requirements with the Oklahoma License Requirements for Child Care Programs
- Be flexible and assist in all age groups
- Treat each child and family with dignity and respect
- Be alert, prompt, and responsive to children and their needs at all times
- Work cooperatively with other staff members, volunteers, and visitors
- Assist with supervision of children at all times
- Assist in caregiving routines, such as feeding and diapering.…
- Assist with documentation of daily needs, incidents/accidents, observations, and developmental milestones
- Assist in setting and maintaining routines for smooth transitions
- Visually and physically monitor sleeping children
- Be familiar with emergency procedures
- Attend staff meetings and training as required
- Perform other duties as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
