The Front Desk Clerk will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and assist with any inquiries or requests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and local area.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette to address guest needs.
- Assist guests with special requests or issues during their stay, maintaining high standards of guest relations.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with phone systems and reservation software is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality are essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
