What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Lakeside Pediatrics?
Lakeside Pediatrics is a certified pediatric medical home in Burlington, VT. We are inclusive, collaborative, supportive and our goal is to provide the highest quality pediatric care to our families.

This is a direct patient care position. The responsibilities are but are not limited to the following:
- Screening patients for well & sick visits
- Prepares and cleans exam rooms
- Ascertains exam rooms are adequately stocked
- Administer vaccines, obtain hemoglobin, lead screens, throat culture, urinalysis/urine culture
- Vermont Immunization Program & CLIA Lab Inspections
- Participates in our Quality Improvement initiative and attends regular meetings
- With a panel that includes babies under 6 months and immunocompromised patients, all of our staff is fully vaccinated.
Must have experience as an MA, CMA or LNA and most importantly experience with babies, children and adolescents.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Must be available Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
