Job Overview

Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions tailored to the needs of users.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications that support social work, addiction counseling, and workforce development initiatives.
- Implement features that facilitate recruiting, interviewing, and training development processes.
- Ensure applications are user-friendly and accessible for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications, ensuring they remain functional and up-to-date.
- Educate team members on best practices in software development and provide training as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with frameworks and tools relevant to application development.
- Knowledge of social work principles, addiction counseling practices, employment labor law, and workforce development strategies is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and train others on software usage.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.85 - $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
