How you can help: We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist who is energetic, self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and enjoys being part of a team. Lakeview believes in continuous improvement, and this position will be welcome to suggest ways to improve efficiency to assist us as we grow. 

This might be a good fit if you can:

• Complete PPAP and First Article Inspection documentation and measurement analysis (including customer portal upload).
• Complete Steel Rule Die Inspection.
• Monitor customer portals for new PPAP requests and/or complaints.
• Complete material composition submissions through IMDS & CDX (May be part of the PPAP process).
• Participate in daily ECN meetings for communicating customer quality requirements.
• Assist in the development of internal procedures for Lakeview’s Quality System
• Contribute to problem solving and solutions.
• Back up other members of QA during absences
• Live out company core values, demonstrate good judgement, and decision making to assist with overall company goals.
• Other Duties as assigned.

What you need to be successful:

• High School Education Required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a quality department and familiarity with its responsibilities.
• Familiar with customer quality requirements (Ex. Control Plans, PFMEA’s, PPAP’s, SPC, Gauge R&R, ISO, QMS, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of print reading and GD&T.
• Proficient with the use of measurement tools (Ex. Calipers, Durometer, Pin Gauge, Thread Gauge, Etc.)
