Lakeview Physical Therapy and Spine is seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at a family owned Physical Therapy clinic. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, managing patient interactions, and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will have experience in health information management and be proficient in handling care plans, making them a vital part of our patient care team.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage patient scheduling, ensuring efficient use of clinic resources.
- Maintain accurate medical records and files, including the management of health information.
- Handle inquiries regarding clinic services and provide necessary information to patients.
- Support the PT team by coordinating communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a dental or medical clinic is preferred.
- Familiarity with health information management systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in filing systems and maintaining organized records is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
