Valet Parking Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Valet Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, ensuring the safe and efficient parking of vehicles, and maintaining a positive experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to hospitality, making it essential for creating a welcoming environment. We work in a variety of settings such as restaurants, event spaces, and privately contracted locations for any required occasion. In addition to valet opportunities, our company contracts employees for a number of parking relevant roles such as booth attendants and parking management. Training for the mentioned roles are optional and provide additional income opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist them with parking their vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Safely park and retrieve vehicles in a timely manner, ensuring the protection of all vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the parking and working area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management associated with every location to coordinate parking and event operations efficiently.
• Assist with valet parking duties as needed, including driving vehicles to designated areas without incurring parking penalties (if placed on a public road)
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols while operating vehicles within the premises.

Requirements

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is advantageous
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and possess a friendly demeanor at all times.
• Maintain appearance upholding uniform requirements and dress standards.
• Must be able to work at least once every two weeks while providing one day of the week for 100% availability if needed to fulfill scheduling requirement.
• Stamina is required and jogging is expected to and from every vehicle.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 30 per week
