Summary of Position:
The primary purpose is to lead/support the in-house architecture process from pursuit through construction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Best Practices
- Assist with;
- Preparing Project Proposals
- Monitoring Practice Performance Metrics
- Understand practice expectations from leadership team;
- Practice / Project Management
- Create a project plan from conception to completion
- Manage and execute the project plan
- Observe project performance; schedule, workload, profit, deliverables
- Coordinate workload throughout the entire project
- Manage project scope relative to the initial proposal
- Track any changes to the scope, schedule and budget
- Coordinate and outline additional services, as needed
- Review and manage consultant costs and services
- Organize and lead project meetings
- Create and distribute agendas, meeting minutes and progress reports
- Lead coordination with consultants
- Collaborate with Lakewood Construction team
- Leadership, Senior Project Managers, Estimators, General Superintendent, etc.
- Understand procurement and construction schedule impacts as it relates to design
- Coordinate scope of work and the level of design with estimators to ensure project is delivered on budget
- Collaborate with general superintendent and field team to align with construction means and methods
- Create a project plan from conception to completion

Required Skills / Abilities:
- Excellent written, verbal, listening, presentation and organizational skills.
- Understanding of relevant project management software experience.
- Proficient in relevant Computer Aided Design programs: Revit & Enscape.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
- Detail oriented.
- Action oriented and self-starter.
- Team player.
- Ability to multi-task and manage project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Five years minimum of relevant experience preferred.
- Active board licensure is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
