About Lakewood Regional Support
Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

What We're Looking For:
The Human Resources Assistant supports the Human Resources department at Lakewood. The Lakewood based HR team includes Compensation, Compliance, Benefits, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition and an HR team that supports all of the centralized departments.
The Human Resources Assistant ensures a welcoming environment for all team members who visit the HR office and helps direct team members to ensure efficient and effective resolution to any questions or concerns.

What You'll Do:
- Responsible for ensuring confidentiality of team member records and related employment matters.
- General receptionist duties to include, ensuring a welcoming environment for all team members, answering and directing calls, electronic and paper file management and responding to general inquiries and/or directing more complex inquiries to the appropriate HR representative.
- Provides general direction to team members and leaders on navigating Workday self-service tasks; including password resets when needed. In addition, supports team members with registrations to training or other events requiring an RSVP.
- In conjunction with the Administrative Operations Coordinator, assists with inventory management of general office supplies and orders as needed.
- Assists team members with Loews's reward and recognition programs (tickets, travel, tuition, Star Card program, etc).
- Provides support to the HR team in the execution of team member engagement events. This could include creating collateral, disseminating information, ordering supplies, assisting with set up or break down, etc.
- Provides assistance, as needed, with new hire on-boarding tasks. This may include preparing a welcome packet, on-boarding paperwork, team member IDs, etc.
- Responsible for team member communication platforms to include Team Member T.V., bulletin boards, recognition walls and other to ensure the material is relevant, timely, engaging and accurate. In addition, for HR regulatory postings, regularly audits to ensure compliance.
- Performs other duties as required to support the successful operation of the HR office and other hotel activities.
Your Experience Includes:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or applications within the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working with Workday, or other HR systems, preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate general office equipment to include scanners, copiers and printers.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or Creole, preferred.
- Professional work experience including general administrative duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
