Direct Reports: Dining Director
Shift: M-F 9:30am-5:30pm (37.5 per week)
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Dress: Business Casual
The Dining Administrative Professional is a vital role to the success of the Lakewood Dining program. This role will involve responsibilities in assisting the Culinary Director, being a billing resident liaison, light HR responsibilities including payroll approval and employee engagement and assisting in the management of the meal plan process at Lakewood. This integral position will also have some marketing and light design responsibilities. Computer skills are a must.

Qualifications:
- High school graduate/GED
- 2-4 years of administrative experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion.
- Must be interested in working in an ever-changing industry in which innovation and creativity are rewarded.
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices as approved by the Director.
- Must be able to greet and interact with residents and take a “solution-minded” approach to each individual.
- Must have computer skills with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Canva.
- Good written and verbal communication skills required.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinates and oversees Dining Directors schedule and light administrative work
- Collaborates with the HR Team as well as Culinary managers to assist with recruitment/on-boarding
- Leads various projects such as our promotional items, philanthropy projects and employee initiatives as needed
- Assists managers in the constructive counseling process including writing, submitting and creating templates for team use as needed
- Acts as the employee engagement lead, managing recognition events, drawings, birthday cards, anniversary celebrations, wow moments, etc.
- Attend all supervisor and manager meetings and other meetings requested by Dining Director
- Manages our social media pages and design work utilizing Canva
- Produce surveys and feedback forms as needed
- Adherence to all safety policies & procedures and regulatory authorities
- Maintenance of confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure resident’s rights and employee confidentiality are protected
- Assure that all Dining Services protocols and procedures are followed in accordance with established policy
- Performance of other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directed
