Job Overview
The Plant Operations Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations. This position involves monitoring processes, reporting and troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining equipment to optimize production. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
- Documentation of Raw Materials and process additions
- Data entry for testing and batch processes
- Basic Trouble shooting of equipment and Processes
- Maintain accurate and timely records of processes under the guidance of Plant Process Operator
- Responsible for adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices including checklists and audits under the guidance of Plant Process Operator
- Performs cross department tasks including routine sampling, labeling, and simple laboratory analysis
- Assists in emergency response activities
- Maintain factory cleanliness
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, know how to handle machinery and chemicals in a safe manner under the guidance of Plant Process Operator
- Report all unsafe acts or conditions that may cause injury to plant personnel or damage equipment, participate in accident/near miss investigations
Skills
- 0-1 year experience as Plant Operations Technician
- Competency in basic computer skills, Excel, Word, etc
- Basic knowledge of mathematical practices including basic algebra
- Basic knowledge of mobile equipment, tractors, forklift, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
