POSITION OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. This position ensures the efficient and safe storage of products, timely shipping, and delivery to customers. The Warehouse Manager will lead a team, implement best practices, and continuously improve processes to achieve operational excellence.
What you will be doing:
● Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
● Develop and enforce efficient workflows for inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics.
● Ensure accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock audits and managing inventory control systems.
● Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
● Lead, train, and motivate a warehouse team, ensuring high performance, safety, and adherence to operational standards.
● Manage the proper use of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
● Oversee logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to optimize warehouse performance and reduce costs.
● Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, shipping timelines, and inventory turnover.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
● Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to inventory, shipping, or warehouse operations.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
● Manage warehouse budgets and report on operational performance to senior management.
Specifications/Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
● Previous experience leading and managing a team.
● Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping processes supporting both B2B and B2C business.
● Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
● Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
● Strong communication and leadership abilities.
● Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
● Forklift certification and other relevant equipment certifications are a plus.
Physical/Mental Requirements and Work Environment
This position is primarily sedentary working in front of a computer in an air-controlled environment. Frequent use of eyesight, fingering, and ability to sit for long periods is required.
