Are you passionate about building connections through advertising? If so, we want you on our sales team! We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative who understands the synergy between marketing and sales. Every sale excites you, whether it's significant or small. Our Lamar office is hiring a new Account Executive (salary commission) to create innovative outdoor advertising campaigns for brands around Princeton, West Virginia.

The primary goal of the Account Executive is to achieve and surpass sales objectives in your territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. You will utilize professional sales techniques to build long-term relationships that foster sales growth for Lamar advertising.

What We Offer :

  • Monday-Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with paid holidays and a mix of in-office and field work.
  • First-year earning potential of $40,000 - $65,000 , including commissions, based on experience and sales performance.

  • Strong oral presentation skills and the ability to clearly explain policies and procedures.

  • Education and Experience :

  • Current and valid Driver's License required.
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in Outdoor Advertising sales preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.

    A Day in the Life :

    In this role, you will :

  • Meet and exceed sales targets while monitoring personal sales data and reports.
  • Target local businesses and maintain relationships with existing and competitor clients.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the local and national advertising landscape.
  • Organize accounts for efficient management and tackle potential growth opportunities.
  • Utilize internal tools to locate prospects and follow up on leads, preparing proposals and research as needed.
  • Enhance your presentation skills using various computer tools during client meetings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve your product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Engage actively in sales meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
  • Manage administrative duties, ensuring a well-maintained record of clients and sales activities.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • The role combines an office setting and field work for sales calls and account servicing.
  • You may need to perform light lifting and maintain specific visual acuity for tasks.
  • Overnight travel is infrequent, requiring less than 10% of your time.
