Job Summary
Duties of the Student Assistant for the Dean of Student Services include, but are not limited to working at the Information Station on the 1st floor of the Student Center to ensure that students and guests entering the Student Center are checked in, placed on the waiting list and directed to the appropriate department/staff. Other duties include accepting documents from students, making copies, answering the telephone, scanning documents, filing, mailing letters, helping students on the computer and other duties as assigned.
Must have excellent customer service skills, be reliable and able to follow instructions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and feel comfortable utilizing computers. (3 positions)
Minimum Qualifications
Confidentiality required. Students must be able to perform basic computer and clerical duties as needed and be able to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications
Typing, copy machine, excellent phone etiquette, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Power Point is a plus. Must have excellent customer service skills, a great can-do attitude and Seahawk spirit. Must be reliable and able to follow instructions. This is a valuable work experience and makes an excellent addition for future employment reference.

8.50 an hour

Between 8am - 5pm - some evenings and weekends may be required.
