Quality Control Inspector
Mission : Ensure all trailers and components meet Lamar Trailers’ quality standards by conducting thorough inspections across welding, paint, and finish departments.
- Comprehensive Quality Inspections :
Conduct detailed inspections of trailers and components at various production stages, including welding, painting, and finishing, to ensure they meet company standards.
Identify and document defects or inconsistencies, providing clear feedback to the relevant teams for immediate resolution.Upholding Standards and Continuous Improvement :Enforce Lamar Trailers’ quality standards by ensuring all processes and products comply with established specifications and guidelines.
Collaborate with team leads to identify recurring quality issues and recommend actionable solutions to improve processes and outcomes.Documentation and Communication :Maintain accurate records of inspections, including non-conformances, corrective actions, and final approvals, to support production traceability and quality assurance.
Communicate effectively with production teams and supervisors to address quality concerns promptly and prevent delay.Continuous Improvement and TeamworkRegularly identify and implement small, meaningful improvements in your work area to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste.Collaborate openly with colleagues, offering support and sharing knowledge to achieve common goals.Maintain clear and respectful communication to strengthen team dynamics and resolve issues promptly.Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment by consistently applying 3S principles.Take proactive steps to address challenges, ensuring the workplace and processes are continuously evolving for the better.
