Posting Number : 2022130 Position Title : Adjunct Instructor, Biology (Pooled) FTE : .5 Salary : Commenstrate Job Summary / Basic Function : About This Role : The Department of Biology seeks candidates qualified to teach courses at any level of instruction in the department curriculum. This is a part time, pooled position filled on an as-needed basis. What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities : Teach courses at assigned times using current pedagogical methods, keeping accurate records of students’ grades. Maintain effective and timely communication with students, chair of department, and composition director. Key Competencies : Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies. Physical Requirements : Able to lift 25 lbs. and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing and walking between buildings.
