Job Description Summary
A successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement and sourcing initiatives within Lamb Weston. This role involves data analytics, identifying cost-saving opportunities, evaluating supplier performance, and optimizing procurement processes. The Procurement Analyst contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement department by providing insights and actionable recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.
Job Description
- Collect and analyze procurement data from various sources, such as systems, suppliers, and market trends
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor key indicators
- Collaborate with category managers to support key cross-functional and procurement initiatives that drive results and support category targets
- Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks related to procurement activities
- Assist in the development and analysis of RFP's and other sourcing events
- Track and communicate cost savings related to procurement projects to ensure projects are on track and appropriately reported
- Support and participate in category strategy developments, as needed
- Work on ad hoc requests for data analysis
- Assists with projects at manager's direction
