The Associate Account Payable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of invoices from approved suppliers, in a manner consistent with approved quality standards and performance requirements. Finally, the Associate Account Payable Specialist is also responsible for the day-to-day resolution of invoice issues within the ERP system.

Job Description Summary

Job Description
Individuals in this position must:
- Incorporate AP / Finance principles into daily work activities
- Complete assigned items in accordance with approved AP / Finance programs utilizing established policies and SOX Controls.
- Process variable volume of invoices for payment
- Validate invoices with purchase orders
- Resolve any invoice exceptions within the ERP system
- Ensure payments are processed on time and accurately to suppliers
- Maintain accurate records management relative to the AP function in accordance with policies and SOX controls
- Assist with additional projects at manager's direction
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job.
- Experience in Finance, Accounts Payable, or similar functions a plus
- Ability to leverage software such as Microsoft Office, SAP, or a comparable ERP tool.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and as a team player, be organized, and plan ahead
- Ability to follow departmental vision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Receptive in a remote environment
