Job Description Summary
The Senior Manager Reliability is responsible for setting the direction for life cycle Asset Management, Asset Reliability and Asset Maintenance for the Lamb Weston (LW) North America (NA) group. The objective is to execute on a strategic roadmap to move the LW NA asset reliability maturity towards world class. The Senior Manager Reliability develops, implements and owns a robust program for preventive, predictive and prescriptive maintenance. This will be supported by a monitoring program on the performance to increase equipment reliability and improve factory performance. The Senior Manager Reliability supports and drives the LW NA Environmental and Sustainability objectives in the Asset Management, Asset Reliability, Asset Maintenance plans. The Senior Manager Reliability is the program manager for LW NA to drive maintenance costs optimization, maintenance budget benchmarking and improvements in the service levels of our maintenance service suppliers. The Senior Manager Reliability functionally leads the LW NA maintenance community and represents the LW NA maintenance function in CI programs, the LW Global organization and externally. The Senior Manager Reliability is the LW NA process owner of the SAP Planned Maintenance Module and drives the fit for purpose set-up and use of this system supporting the LW NA Reliability strategy and programs.

- Develops, embeds, and maintains the Lamb Weston North American Asset Management, Asset Reliability, and Maintenance Strategy.
- Establishes and ensures a one "lived" approach on reliability within Lamb Weston, based upon the set strategy.
- Develops, rolls out, and embeds programs and roadmaps on tactical level to drive world-class reliability excellence to optimize equipment reliability while optimizing costs.
Leadership & People Development
Gives functional leadership to the plant maintenance managers and teams on maintenance and reliability management.Guides and supports the operational plant maintenance teams with the operational reliability plans based upon the set reliability programs and roadmaps.Builds and maintains a reliability community within Lamb Weston North America.Attracts, builds, and develops talent for the maintenance / reliability organization in Lamb Weston North America.Supports the plant teams on major breakdowns, supplier escalations, and root cause analysis of major breakdowns.Reliability Management
Develops, rolls out, and maintains an asset management framework, systems, structures, and processes for Lamb Weston, North America.Develops and rolls out programs to move from reactive to proactive to achieve higher OEE, reliability, and lifetime extension.Determines the maintenance and / or operations / reliability strategy with the support of MRO procurement and alignment with the plants on execution with own organization or outsourcing.Leads, as the Process Owner, the maintenance module of the ERP system (SAP PM) and works with IT partners to ensure it supports the LW NA Reliability strategy.Reliability, Finance, and Compliance
Guides and supports the annual supply chain maintenance budgeting process (OPEX)Leads and supports the annual and strategic capital budgeting process (CAPEX) on asset replacements and asset improvement investments.Develops, rolls out, and maintains a zero-based maintenance budgeting process that supports cost effective maintenance.Benchmarks the maintenance budgets within LW global and similar businesses outside of Lamb Weston and uses this to optimize maintenance budgets.Drives, with the support of the MRO procurement organization, a spare parts stock that has the optimum balance between value and availability of critical spares to achieve the best working capital position on spare parts.Ensures the reliability system meets the company compliance requirements of our financial and management systems and supports and guides the maintenance plant teams with this.Communication & Reporting
Reports out on KPI dashboards the financial status, including outlook, and asset performance. Provides inputs for Supply Chain monthly business reviews.Drives the use of these reports and KPI dashboard within the maintenance community to drive improvements on performance.Network & Relationships
Builds and maintains an excellent relationship with the manufacturing and support organizations.Responsible for the LW NA Supplier Review management with the support of MRO and Capital procurement to maintain and improve effective and efficient services levels.Represents Lamb Weston, NA, within the LW Global organization of reliability and maintenanceRepresents lamb Weston, NA, in external meetings, forums, etc. with respect to Maintenance and Reliability.Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Leads the maintenance and reliability programs in the LW NA Continuous Improvement programs.Drives best practice sharing on maintenance and reliability including the systems to support this.Leads and directs with a robust program from Preventative Maintenance to Conditioned Based Monitoring to Predictive MaintenanceBuilds and creates a network of suppliers, knowledge, and trends to move LW NA Maintenance and Reliability to the next level.The job is self-managing and needs to deliver the LW NA Reliability strategy and programs to achieve a "one"- approach of effective and efficient Reliability across the LW NA factories.Is the business partner within the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Leadership Team for all Reliability related topics.Sets the direction for the LW NA Reliability / Maintenance way of workingSupports and guides the AOP maintenance budgeting process and Capital Strategic Plan (5-year plan) on asset replacement or improvement investmentsLeads the optimization of the LW NA working capital spare parts stockDirect reports : 1; Indirect functional reports : 14 (Technical / Innovation Managers, Sr Engineering Managers, Global CI Managers Maintenance Managers, Facility Managers of LW NA plants)Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education / Certifications :
Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field required.Master's degree in Engineering preferred.Skills and Experience :
10 years related experience in an industrial production / processing environment.Experienced with developing and embedding strategies, programs and roadmaps to drive organizational change and improvements.Advanced knowledge of and experience with Life Cycle Asset Management, Reliability, MaintenanceInspirational leader, highly collaborative and people orientated with experience in matrix organization.Strong cross functional leadership and ability to influence across and upwards in the organization.Able to act on operational, tactical and strategic levelAbility to form and maintain strong and trusting internal and external relationshipsExecute presence with strong communication and diplomacy skillsAbility to analyze complex information to make agile yet fact-based judgements and decisions.Physical Environment / Demands :
