What youll do as an Operator Telecom Construction
You will safely operate drill equipment on jobsite which may include but not limited to the following : Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck / TrailerYou will restore and / or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsiteYou will develop and maintain a bore scheduleYou will be responsible for the site set-up and clean-upYou will load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truckYou will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis JSA prior to starting constructionYou will set up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging trafficWhat youll need
To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyYou have a valid standard Driver's License or a Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsementYou have an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the companyYou are able to maintain a safe work environmentYou are able to work in all weather conditionsYou are able to lift / carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistanceYou are able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-callYou are experienced with drilling equipment and understand their capabilities and limitationsYou are able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilitiesYou may have experience with drill set up and design processesYou may able to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructionsYou are able to climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objectsYou may have previous construction or utility construction experienceAdditional qualifications (if applicable)

Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include but are not limited to : close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus potentially near and / or far as needed. Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens.Employees may be exposed to toxic or corrosive chemicals as well as moving machinery parts and pieces.
