Job Summary
Our Billing Team is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist. Duties include adding clients insurance into our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, processing paper and electronic claims, posting payments, and working though denied claims and client statments. This role will also support other administrative tasks with other teams and other front office duties. Position requires excellent computer and customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidate will have billing experience, strong customer service skills and be successful working within a high functioning team

Education /Experience
Required: High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years’ related experience; knowledge of or experience with Medicaid and Medicare regulations
Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 3 years’ experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and other medical billing. Knowledge of computerized billing software preferred.
License/Certifications

Preferred: Certified Professional Coder or similar certification
