What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Specialist I position at Lamoille County Mental Health Services?
The IT Specialist provides software and network support, training, troubleshooting, printer and computer support. To perform this job successfully the Specialist must be able to perform duties in a knowledgeable and efficient manner. Prior Customer Service/Engagement preferred.
Education/Experience
Required: Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Associate of Science degree in computer related field or two years relevant experience. Requires experience with personal computer equipment. Must have advanced skills in personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; 3 years' experience in IT environment; EMR/EHR software knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of how to assemble and disassemble personal computer components, including cabling preferred.
License/Certifications
Required: Valid drivers' license, current automobile registration and proof of insurance
