Job Summary
The developmental services program at Lamoille County Mental Services is looking for shared living provider homes. The ideal homes would be willing to share their home with a person with developmental disability, provide care, support and daily living skills. LCMHS support individuals by using a person-centered approach to help them have choices and control over their own lives. People interested in this would need to be trained by LCMHS and willing to work with a team collaborating with a therapeutic approach.
LCMHS is also looking for a specific home who is highly structured, team oriented, no child, and able to provide high level of supervision for an adult male.
Lamoille County Mental Health Services Home Provider program is designed to keep individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism in the community while providing a high quality of care and the necessary support for the individual to be successful in the community setting. Our program utilizes caregivers who want to share their homes with individuals who need assistance with daily living. Home providers work with their individuals 365 days a year and are compensated with a tax-free stipend, room, and board monthly payment, and have respite funding to allow the individual and home provider breaks.
