Long-Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher

Lamoille Union Middle School is seeking a Long-Term Social Studies Substitute Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join our team. This is a Middle School position teaching 7th and 8th grade. Position starts Monday March 18th and continues through Monday May 12, 2025. The successful candidate will: *Have a Middle Level Social Studies endorsement (grades 5-9 or 7-12) •Demonstrate the ability to foster rapport with students to effectively communicate skills and foster success for all learners •Have a strong working knowledge and ability to apply differentiated instruction and effective student assessment methods •Have middle school teaching experience and enjoy working as part of an innovative educational team •Have ability to integrate technology into the classroom •Hold a current Social Studies Educator’s License or be eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont •Have flexible availability as anticipated dates of employment may vary Lamoille North Supervisory Union provides a generous compensation and benefit package.
