Lamoille Valley Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team in Hyde Park, Vermont. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive parts needs, maintaining inventory levels, and contributing to overall sales goals. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify and locate automotive parts and accessories for customers
- Provide accurate pricing and product information
- Process customer orders and payments
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and keep shelves organized and stocked
- Collaborate with service department to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Assist in identifying and resolving customer concerns
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Keep up-to-date with new products and promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in automotive parts sales or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with computer systems and software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
