Position Summary:
Lamplight Behavior Analysis is seeking a dynamic and experienced Founding Clinical Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years as a certified BCBA, with proven leadership and supervisory experience. You will thrive in a startup environment and work autonomously to help establish and grow our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Program Development:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), Interview-Informed Synthesized Contingency Analyses (IISCAs) and skills assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on learner needs.
- Design and implement evidence-based ABA interventions
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and review of client data to ensure treatment efficacy.
- Modify treatment plans as necessary based on data and client progress.
Supervision and Training:
- Provide direct supervision and support to RBTs, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
- Conduct regular observations and performance evaluations for RBTs and other clinical staff.
- Train staff on best practices, behavior intervention techniques, and ethical guidelines.
Parent and Caregiver Training:
- Educate families on ABA principles and strategies to promote generalization of skills.
- Conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss progress and address concerns.
Compliance and Ethical Standards:
- Ensure adherence to the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
- Review and maintain clinical documentation in adherence with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Complete internal audits of documentation for compliance
Team Leadership:
- May be involved in recruiting, hiring, developing and training new BCBAs and RBTs.
- Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
- Uses discernment, and good judgement in decision making
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for business office operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of office operations, proposing innovative solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in the industry and office management to drive continuous improvement.
- May assist with Business Development in new markets, and analysis of market data
Qualifications:
- Certified BCBA with minimum 4-6 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and ethical standards.
