DescriptionReporting to the Operations Manager, the Inventory Control Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Inventory Control Department, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. This role is responsible for managing inventory systems and processes, supervising the cycle count and auditing processes at the fulfillment center, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Typical Duties : Oversees the cycle count, auditing, and other processes at the fulfillment center, including planning, problem identification, and resolution of all count or audit variances.Collaborates with fulfillment center managers, supervisors, and store inventory management to resolve store / internet discrepancies related to shipment accuracy and quality.Analyzes inventory variance and exception reports, performs necessary research to correct discovered errors, and monitors inventory data to ensure accuracy and quality within the fulfillment center.Trains Inventory Control Specialists on procedures, including routine cycle counts, system-generated random checks, and related tasks, using warehouse management systems.Performs annual employee evaluations and forwards them to the Operations Manager for review and approval.Monitors inventory errors caused by receiving, shipping, returns, and other fulfillment center activities. Retains a record file of inventory issues and responsible parties.
