Position Description Summary : Responsible for providing shipping and receiving needs for the department and purchasing items for the maintenance department. This includes ordering of stock and non-stock items, processing of routine forms, reports and documents in accordance with policy. Principal Accountabilities : (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.) :
- Communicate with co-workers, subordinates, and those of higher authority
- Excellent radio and phone skills etiquette
- Perform cycle-counts
- Ship and receive all supplies and parts
- Purchase maintenance parts and supplies
- Distribute parts and packages to appropriate persons or department
- Maintain cleanliness of parts department and parts storage bins and lockers
