Position Title: Sales Representative
Reports to: President
Primary Job Responsibility: To manage and increase company sales to Dealers and OEM customers by consistent outbound calling and digital communication to both existing customers and prospects.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build a database of Dealer prospects from sources such as competitor websites, on-line forums, print publications, and purchased lists. Convert these prospects into Dealer customers.
- Service existing Dealer customer list while building new customer base.
- Work together with Lamson’s independent Sales Representatives to ensure excellent customer service is maintained.
- Maintain and update Lamson’s database of Dealer customers with complete information.
- Enter Dealer customer orders correctly. Provide estimated delivery dates and monitor for timely delivery.
- Review quote requests from Dealers or outside Sales Representativess with Management Team and submit to Dealers. Follow up on all quotes.
- Record outbound call history and customers response to both calls and e-mails.
- Provide product and promotion information to Dealers as required.
- Handle Dealer needs and requirements.
- Respond to Dealer inquiries and timely resolve issues.
- Refer Dealer’s needs or inquiries to appropriate departments like customer service, marketing, administrative or other departments.
- Assist and support customer service, marketing or other departments in handling customer requests and needs.
- Visit selected Dealers and attend Trade Shows if required.
- Create and maintain records and reports via Microsoft Excel.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school diploma.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications specifically M.S. Excel.
- Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data timely.
- Knowledge of basic clerical and administrative procedures.
- Prior B2B sales experience is essential
