Lancaster County Motors is the parent company for a family of well-respected automotive dealerships that include; LCM Subaru, Lancaster Hyundai, Lancaster Kia, Providence Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram, Mercedes Benz of Lancaster, Mercedes Benz of Lancaster Van Center and Mercedes Benz of Medford Oregon.In addition to our dealerships, we also have Commercial Van Solutions a fabricator/builder of commercial van interiors-exteriors and camper/RV/B-Van/Travel Trailers. We are currently looking for an experienced, established Finance Manager to join our team and continue driving the success of our finance department at one of our dealerships.
The Finance Manager performs a number of vital functions, including reviewing and confirming the agreed-upon sales figures, preparing salespeople to confer with customers about needed services or products, consulting with customers to determine their wants and needs and presenting products to fulfill them, obtaining credit approval, and preparing delivery documentation. Throughout the process, the Finance Manager must practice strict legal compliance and ethical behavior.
Job Duties Include:
- Provides customers with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
- Converts cash deals to finance.
- Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
- Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
- Processes all federal, state and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions.
- Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new vehicle and used vehicle and finance department.
- Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner.
- Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
- Acquires and maintains current state insurance license, completing continuing credit insurance education as needed.
- Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Set up and maintains a programs which will ensure 100 percent turnover to the finance department.
- Provides sales force and sales managers with current information about finance and lease programs continually.
- Works with sales managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
- Ensures collection of all finance fees.
- Works closely with finance director to establish sales department goals and objectives and ensures that they are achieved.
- Handles all rate quotations.
- Develops and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Processes salespersons’ “end of month” commission sheets for accounting office payroll.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attends sales meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- Must have Four (4) years’ experience as a seasoned Automotive Finance Manager.
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Knowledge and the ability to utilize good listening skills.
- Knowledge of the automotive finance processes.
- Ability to sell a minimum quota according to the dealership standards.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to use a variety of office equipment i.e. phones, photocopiers, facsimile, and printers.
- Ability to take initiative and follow through.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English.
- Ability to write legibly in English in a clear, concise, and logical manner.
- Ability to speak clearly and express self effectively in English.
- Ability to determine the skills required to perform a variety of jobs.
- Ability to organize, establish priorities, multitask, work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify, resolve, and/or notify supervisor of problems.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to problem solve, use good judgement, accuracy, and make logical decisions.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Pennsylvania sales license.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Hours: Varies including evenings and Saturdays
