A Pennsylvania consumer products company is seeking a Plant Finance Manager to join their growing team. In this role, the Plant Finance Manager plays a pivotal role within the Global Manufacturing Organization, ensuring internal manufacturing costs are optimized and accurately reflected in the company's financial performance. This role supports the organization's strategic supply chain initiatives by providing financial leadership, driving cost governance, and partnering with key stakeholders to achieve financial goals.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee effective cost governance for $10-75M in operational spend across manufacturing sites through detailed insights, standardized tracking of productivity and inflation drivers, and hands-on leadership in decision-making for $100M in ingredient and packaging inventory.
- Evaluate global spending practices, production yields, and operational efficiencies to identify improvement areas, enabling future insights and maximizing the use of manufacturing assets.
- Collaborate with Site Leadership, Regional Manufacturing Leaders, Procurement, Finance, and Transformation Teams to deliver on strategic initiatives focused on growth and efficiency.
- Provide decision-making support to manufacturing sites by focusing on yield loss, operational spending, and net working capital trade-offs.
- Safeguard site assets, including inventory and property, plant, and equipment (PP&E), while fostering a strong control environment.
- Lead initiatives to ensure productivity pipelines are sufficient across sites, assisting with ideation and cost-efficiency deep dives.
- Establish and maintain consistent cost management practices to ensure manufacturing operations are on time, within budget, and aligned with company objectives.
