What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Ophthalmic Front Desk Specialist- Part-Time position at Lancaster Retina Specialist?
Medical Front Desk Specialists- Parttime
Candidates should be able to answer and manage high call volume of incoming calls. Schedule/cancel patient appointments, route incoming calls with a professional, friendly and caring manner.
Greet patients at check In/check Out. Explain all required patient forms. Collect co-pays, insurance verification.
Ability to perform all aspects of the front desk.
Be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Fill in for for other staff as needed for days off and vacation.
Must be able to Work all day on Mondays and must be able to stay late at least one night a week to 5:30 pm. Approx. 25 hours a week.
Ophthalmic experience preferred but not required.
